Signs of a Heart Attack

Even if you are on this article accidentally or you are not really interested by the heart attack problem, don't leave it too soon. We are talking here about the heart attack signs, and no one can be assured he or she will never have one.

Chest pain is a heart attack signHeart attack is more and more in the attention of the recent studies and doctors are frenetically searching for new, improved solutions to this disease. But the treatment efficiency is in straight correlation with the reaction of the patient.

The clot bursting therapy is one step forward to heart attack, but only when the patient asks for help in the first hours after a myocardial infarction. The later, the less chances of a better recovery.

This is a very good reason to keep in mind the most usual signs of a heart attack. And act in case you might think you have one or more of them.
A heart attack may start in three ways:

  • acute - the patient will complain of a sharp, intense chest pains, which can often be felt also in the left arm or jaw, profuse sweating, and a sense of impending doom or death fear
  • silent - absolutely no sign of a heart attack and no complain of neither one of the signs described
  • mild form - or have localized pain in their shoulders, arms, back, or abdomen.

Sometimes the only symptom is a feeling of heartburn or nausea. This seems one of the most dangerous - the victim of the heart attack is not searching for medical help.
The silent heart attack is less dangerous as it usually doesn't lead to serious complications and is only an warning sign of a potential bigger attack.
The time after the symptoms appearance and the medical help may cost patient life - important changes happen very quickly in the myocardium and I talk about these changes in one of my articles about what is heart attack.
